Player Information:

This tournament will be comprised of 2-person teams from the same SNEWGA club competing against other teams from their Region.  It will consist of 18 holes of stroke play. The first 9 holes will be Better Ball and the second 9 holes will be Modified Alternate Shot.  The one winning net team from each Region will advance to the Presidents Cup match play rounds.

  • Players must be members of SNEWGA by July 9, 2015 and must have a valid GHIN handicap.
  • Handicaps will be adjusted to 90%, and partners will be limited to a maximum handicap spread of 8 strokes, after adjustment.   NOTE:  You may sign up as a team even if your handicaps are more than 8 strokes apart.  If there is a greater spread between partners, the higher handicap team member will have her adjusted course handicap reduced to meet the 8 stroke maximum.
  • Player substitutions may be made between the Regional Championships and Presidents Cup rounds, if needed.  Once a player has been eliminated from the tournament, she is not eligible to play as a substitute.  All handicap and eligibility requirements apply to substitute players.
  • Ties will be broken by playoffs wherever possible and if extra holes are played, they will all be played in Better Ball format.

Fill out the Team Entry form below and submit your entry to your club SNEWGA Rep, along with a check made out to SNEWGA in the amount of $100.00 per team (this includes a $6.00 entry fee per player).  Your rep must receive your entry no later than July 20, 2015.

The tournament field is limited, so if your team is selected to play and withdraws, you will NOT receive a refund unless a replacement team can be found.

 SNEWGA Rep. Information:

You are responsible for gathering all the submitted Team Entry forms and the corresponding checks from your club teams who want to be considered for selection for the Regional Championship round.  SNEWGA Reps. must fill out the Club Entry form to prioritize the teams.  You should then "snail-mail" the Club Entry form, along with all the checks, to Presidents Cup Chairwoman, Brooke Samuelson.  All entries must be received, by Brooke, on or before July 27, 2015.  For additional details, please review the Club Rep letter below.

  • Teams should be listed on the Club Entry form in order of priority, because the field is limited.  Those listed first on your Club Entry form will have precedence.  Please be sure your teams indicate if they are willing to be wait-listed.
  • Player substitutions may be made between the Regional Championships and Presidents Cup rounds, if needed.  Once a player has been eliminated from the tournament, she is not eligible to play as a substitute.  All handicap and eligibility requirements apply to substitute players.
